Stopped off at Walgreens yesterday and picked up the above items. I have now built up my points to over $5.00 so can go shopping for some free items. Need to remember to not buy items that give points.
What do you think of the point program. I do not like it since I can not spend my points on point items. I prefer the old reward program or shopping at CVS and getting bucks. I can then use those bucks to reduce the cost for other deals that give me more reward bucks.

I shopped Walgreens for 35 years so much my family made fun of all the time and money I spent in Walgreens. I quit Walgreens cold turkey when they started the stupid points system. I no longer do the drug store game. I feel that the drugstores are marking things up only to make folks continue playing the game. I shop Dollar General and Walmart Dollar General gives $5.00 off each $25.00 spent several times per year and you can add other coupons to this to get your dollar levels down. Walmart price matching is also a blessing for our family.
